Community Partners
Strengthening Rural Health Care Together
RNEP partners with Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) to bridge the gap between nursing education and the rural health care workforce. RNEP-approved sites work with nursing schools to provide clinical training in their own communities.
Recently, RNEP approved 17 CAHs to be RNEP-approved sites. These sites help identify students for RNEP Participation. This collaboration builds strong local relationships that support recruiting and retaining nurses in rural communities.
