Federal Rulemaking
DOH participates in the federal rulemaking process by submitting public comments on proposed regulation published in the Federal Register. Commenting on proposed federal regulation is a critical part of coordination between state and federal agencies, and allows for DOH to voice support, concern, and questions before a final rule is issued.
