  • December 2-4, 2025: 2025 Advancing School Mental Health Conference hosted by the National Center for School Mental Health (Orlando, FL) 

    • This conference focuses on school mental health and unites local, state, national, and international experts to advance knowledge and skills related to school mental health practice, research, training, and policy. The conference emphasizes a shared school-family-community agenda to promote mental health, prevent issues, and provide interventions for students and families as part of a multi-tiered system of support. Registration is $590 until November 21.

  • December 3, 2025, 12-1 PM PTPreventing Substance Use and Exploitation in Adolescence
    • This webinar, hosted by Futures Without Violence and the School-Based Health Alliance, will equip health center providers and administrators, including school-based health centers, with strategies to address substance use, adolescent relationship abuse, and exploitation. Presenters will highlight clinical and community-based approaches to strengthen prevention and response efforts, while promoting universal education so that all adolescent patients receive information and resources.

  • December 6, 2025, 9-11 AM PT: Pediatric Mental Health CME Event

    • Seattle Children’s Partnership Access Line (PAL) is hosting a free virtual pediatric mental health CME event. PAL supports primary care providers (doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants) with questions about mental health care such as diagnostic clarification, medication adjustment or treatment planning.

  • December 10, 2025, 11-12 PM PT: Strengthening Partnerships to Support Housing-Insecure Families

    • Join the School-Based Health Alliance and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council for a webinar examining key factors and opportunities to enhance care for children and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Explore effective strategies for fostering strong partnerships between health centers, schools, and community organizations, while advancing family-centered care to improve access and the quality of care provided.

  • December 11, 2025, 10-11 AM PT: Kids Mental Health Washington Care Continuum
    • Join Kids Mental Health Washington (KMHWA) as we examine the program’s local and statewide impact across all levels of the behavioral health care continuum. Now fully statewide, we will dive into KMHWA’s data collection process, analysis, and application. You’ll hear directly from regional leaders about what’s working, how they’re addressing barriers, and how everyone—from parents to providers—can play a role in improving access to care.

  • December 17, 2025, 10-11 AM PT: Expanding Capacity: The Adaptive, the Technical, and the Tools
    • This webinar from Kids Mental Health WA and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital explores how individuals and organizations can strengthen their ability to grow impact and efficiency of efforts to address the complex challenges facing young people today. Participants will learn to distinguish between adaptive challenges—the deeper, people-centered issues that require shifts in culture, mindset, and relationships—and technical challenges—the systems, processes, and procedures that can be improved through practical solutions. It will explore both sides of this work and share tools, templates, and strategies that can help communities build understanding and action.

  • March 3-6, 2026: 2026 Annual Meeting hosted by the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (Seattle, WA)

    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This conference will explore key competencies that help youth thrive in diverse environments, regardless of biological or social determinants. Professionals and caring adults can act as catalysts, activating each youth’s innate resilience to thrive, not just survive. Engage with experts, share experiences, and learn strategies to support youth in your community to create environments where every young person can flourish.

  • March 19, 2026: Washington State Immunization Summit hosted by WithinReach (Virtual & Tacoma, WA)

    • This ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​full-day hybrid event will bring together public health professionals, health care providers, community leaders, and advocates to advance immunization efforts across the state. Individual registration is $75 for virtual and $200 for in-person.

  • June 23-25, 2026: National School-Based Health Care Conference hosted by the School-Based Health Alliance (Washington, D.C.)

    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The National School-Based Health Care Conference is an opportunity to connect with hundreds of health care professionals, education professionals, youth, and advocates from across the country. Conference attendees will explore the innovative ways SBHCs serve their students and families in rural, urban, and suburban schools and communities by promoting wellness and health equity through engaging communities and fostering partnerships. The Call for Abstracts is open until November 21.

  • October 23, 2026Save the date for WA SBHA’s 2026 Student Health Summit in Wenatchee, WA.

  • November 2 & 5-7, 2026: Annual Conference on Adolescent Health hosted by the Adolescent Health Initiative (Detroit, MI)

    • The conference brings together an interdisciplinary community of health care professionals to share research and best practices aimed at improving adolescent-centered care. The conference will be held virtually on November 2 and in Detroit, MI, on November 5-7. Call for proposals open on December 12, 2025. Registration opens in June 2026.
