  • March 3 to 6, 2026: 2026 Annual Meeting hosted by the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (Seattle, WA)

    • This conference will explore key competencies that help youth thrive in diverse environments, regardless of biological or social determinants. Professionals and caring adults can act as catalysts, activating each youth’s innate resilience to thrive, not just survive. Engage with experts, share experiences, and learn strategies to support youth in your community to create environments where every young person can flourish.

  • March 19, 2026: Washington State Immunization Summit hosted by WithinReach (Virtual & Tacoma, WA)

    • This full-day hybrid event will bring together public health professionals, health care providers, community leaders, and advocates to advance immunization efforts across the state. Individual registration is $75 for virtual and $200 for in-person.

  • March 19, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT: Clearer Futures: Identifying Eye Care Needs in School-Age Children

    • This session provides foundational knowledge on vision health in school-age children, including common conditions, the importance of early identification, and effective referral pathways. It will outline key information primary care providers should understand to ensure timely and appropriate eye care.

  • April 10, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT: Rooted in Rights: Reproductive Justice in SBHCs

    • Reproductive justice is rooted in bodily autonomy, the right to have or not have children, to parent safely in healthy conditions, and to express one’s sexuality and gender authentically. Learn how this framework shapes care in school-based health centers, and gain strategies to address identity, intersectionality, and systemic barriers, so that sexual health services are more inclusive, equitable, and youth-centered.

  • April 23, 2026, 12 to 1 p.m. PT: A Shared Vision: Building Community Partnerships for School-Based Eye Care Programs

    • This webinar explores strategies for leveraging diverse partnerships, such as academic institutions, school nurses, tele-optometry providers, rural health partners, school administrators, children’s hospitals, the Indian Health Service, and Medicaid programs, to expand access to school-based eye care. Presenters will highlight models from SBHCs that serve different populations and demonstrate a range of approaches, from on-site staff to mobile and visiting vision care services.

  • April 28 to 29, 2026: Psychosis CARE Virtual Conference (Virtual)

    • The conference invites school staff, primary care providers, mental health therapists, substance use disorder professionals, law enforcement, families, and people with lived experience to engage in Community Awareness, Resources, and Education (CARE) as it relates to psychosis. Attendees can expect to learn more about early identification of psychosis, resources for supporting individuals experiencing symptoms of psychosis, Washington resources for psychosis care, and opportunities to engage with other attendees. Registration is free.

  • May 9, 2026: Pediatric Health Equity Summit hosted by Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Auburn, WA)

    • The summit is an opportunity to learn together and take collective action to advance equitable health care for children statewide. The 2026 theme is “From Embers to Action: Reimagining Pediatric Health Equity.”

  • May 18, 2026: Say It Out Loud Conference (Tulalip, WA)

    • The Say it Out Loud conference is for peers, providers, advocates, partners, and community members who believe in creating systems of care where everyone is valued, heard, and supported. This year’s theme, “Unapologetically us! Bold voices, bright futures!” reflects Washington’s commitment to centering 2SLGBTQIA+ voices, celebrating lived experience, and strengthening behavioral health support statewide. Registration is $135.

  • June 12, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT: Autonomy to Access: Serving Girls of Color with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

    • Grounded in the Reproductive Justice movement and its ties to social and Disability Justice, this workshop will provide practical ways to integrate these principles to center girls of color with IDD in school-based healthcare settings. Participants will learn how to strengthen inclusion and relevance in sexual health services by supporting bodily autonomy and honoring diverse identities, ensuring access to unbiased information and options.

  • June 23 to 25, 2026: National School-Based Health Care Conference hosted by the School-Based Health Alliance (Washington, D.C.)

    • The National School-Based Health Care Conference is an opportunity to connect with hundreds of health care professionals, education professionals, youth, and advocates from across the country. Conference attendees will explore the innovative ways SBHCs serve their students and families in rural, urban, and suburban schools and communities by promoting wellness and health equity through engaging communities and fostering partnerships. 

  • August 14, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT: Supporting Adolescent Survivors of Sexual Trauma

    • Teens are one of the highest risk groups for enduring sexual trauma, yet institutional processes for addressing it remain inconsistently adopted. What should clinic-based staff and providers know to better support adolescent survivors in a healthcare context? This workshop will offer a focused look at effective screening, resource referrals, trauma-informed exams, and crisis triage after recent disclosure.

  • October 14 to 16, 2026: 100th Annual School Health Conference by the American School Health Association (Indianapolis, IN)

  • October 22 to 23, 20262026 Student Health Summit by Washington School-Based Health Alliance (Wenatchee, WA)

    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This year, the daylong conference will be preceded by an optional half-day preconference. WA SBHA is taking speaker proposals until May 4.

  • October 26, 2026: Washington State Mental Health Summit hosted by Chad's Legacy Project (Seattle, WA)

    • The summit is an inclusive forum for statewide partners to develop, share, and advance new ideas, opportunities and collaborations to advance education, prevention, and care for those living with mental health and addiction problems.

  • November 2 and 5 to 7, 2026: Annual Conference on Adolescent Health hosted by the Adolescent Health Initiative (Detroit, MI)

    • The conference brings together an interdisciplinary community of health care professionals to share research and best practices aimed at improving adolescent-centered care. The conference will be held virtually on November 2 and in Detroit, MI, on November 5 to 7. Call for proposals end March 13. Registration opens in June 2026.

  • November 13, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT: Informed Not Influenced: Supported Decision-Making

    • ​​​​​​​Supported Decision-Making is an approach to allying with disabled people that centers their autonomy and personhood. In adolescent reproductive health, the same tenants can be used to address disinformation and present neutral, evidence-based guidance, allowing young people to make informed decisions. This session includes a guest speaker from La Clinica on the LARC doula program, non-clinical support for youth seeking IUD or implant placement and removal.

  • December 1 to 3, 2026: Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health (Nashville, TN)

    • The Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health is an interdisciplinary conference focused on school mental health. It unites local, state, national, and international experts to advance knowledge and skills related to school mental health practice, research, training, and policy. This year’s conference is in Nashville, TN. Requests for proposals are open through March 31.
