Current Products
MyWABenefits
A mobile-friendly, self-service portal to help households understand their eligibility and enrollment status across multiple programs.
MyWABenefits is an eligibility and enrollment status tracker, designed for clients and their authorized representatives to monitor the status of their applications and access current benefit information for Classic Apple Health Medicaid, cash assistance, and food programs. This product was developed with a focus on human-centered and equity-driven design principles, integrating the experiences and voices of customers.
Successfully launched on June 4, 2025, this mobile-friendly product is offered in English, Spanish, and Russian. MyWABenefits is delivering an accessible and convenient solution for thousands of residents to stay informed. On average, 200 new accounts are created each day.
Efforts are in progress to enhance MyWABenefits, aiming to support a wider range of programs and additional languages, while improving usability, guided by customer feedback.
DocUpload
A secure, self-service online portal that allows customers to submit verification documents for eligibility determinations.
DocUpload is a secure online platform that allows customers to submit verification documents required for eligibility determination, serving as an alternative to traditional mailing, faxing, or in-person submissions. Available in English, Spanish, and Russian, DocUpload enhances self-service options by offering a more convenient and efficient method for document submission, thereby minimizing the need for phone calls or visits to a Community Services Office.
Following a successful soft launch in June 2025, DocUpload became available to all food and cash program customers supported by the Community Services Division of DSHS’ Economic Services Administration. Ongoing efforts aim to enable access through MyWABenefits and to identify any technical challenges or considerations for scaling the service beyond DSHS ESA customers.
Platform
The IE&E Platform provides infrastructure to support development of modern and integrated eligibility solutions.
Serving as the backbone of the IE&E Modernization Program, the Platform provides the infrastructure to support development of modern and integrated eligibility solutions for health and human services. The Platform’s current focus is maintaining the infrastructure needs of MyWABenefits and Document Upload and will expand to support future priorities by offering a common framework and set of tools for building, deploying, and managing applications.
The Platform's scalable, flexible infrastructure allows IE&E to quickly adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements. Designed with security and compliance in mind, it ensures sensitive data of Washingtonians is protected and secure while enabling IE&E to streamline the development of new capabilities and services.
