Every patient, every time -- the Power of the Provider
In Washington, 59,280 health care providers have already committed to the Power of Providers Initiative, or POP Initiative. As part of the initiative, health care providers agree to seek their patients’ vaccination status, ask them about the vaccine and offer education, provide vaccination or a vaccine referral, and empower patients to share their vaccination status. Every patient, every time.
Health care providers have a critical role in getting as many people vaccinated against COVID-19 as possible, and are considered trusted messengers in answering questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, debunking myths, and moving them toward getting the vaccine.
We need your help to get the word out about the POP Initiative. Help our state reach the goal of 212,000 health care provider commitments by sharing POP Initiative resources with community health care providers and partners. You and your team can sign up too.
