State to provide monoclonal antibody allocations

On September 14, U.S. Health and Human Services announced that state health departments will now allocate and distribute monoclonal antibody products to health care providers. Providers will no longer be able to request them directly from the distributor.

To support these efforts DOH is developing a system of reporting and requesting monoclonal antibodies through WA Health, an online reporting and supply request portal. We also created a monoclonal antibody treatment page which provides information on the therapy, a treatment location finder, FAQs, guidance, and other resources. DOH is currently working on a process to smooth this transition and will update the webpage as this process develops.
