Help your community hold firm during an earthquake

Is your team ready for the big one? October 21 is the Great Washington ShakeOut – an annual statewide opportunity to prepare and practice how to be safer during big earthquakes. Part of International ShakeOut Day, it occurs on the third Thursday of October.

Shareable outreach materials are available on the Great Washington ShakeOut ‘resources’ webpage, and include print-friendly postcards, posters and flyers, social media messages, graphics, GIFs and videos, FAQs, manuals and planning documents, “Drop, Cover and Hold On!” guidance, and more.
