POP letters reach 100,000 providers

The Power of Providers (POP) initiative continues to work towards the goal of encouraging providers to seek patients’ vaccination status, asking them about the vaccine and offering education, providing vaccination or a vaccine referral and empowering patients to share their vaccination status.

Currently more than 65,000 providers in Washington have committed to POP. To continue increasing commitments to this initiative, on November 15 DOH mailed letters to providers, both those who vaccinate and those who do not. The letter, sent to around 100,000 providers, asks them to commit to POP by acknowledging and returning a tear off reply card.
