As we begin to experience high summer temperatures, we encourage you to share updates about cooling centers available in your area through your social media, websites, newsletters, and media channels.

If there are cooling centers in your area, you or your organization’s public information officer or communications lead can email your jurisdiction’s list to DOH-PIO@doh.wa.gov. We’ll compile and share cooling center information with Washington 2-1-1. That information will be used to populate this 2-1-1 map of cooling centers.

2-1-1 is a free confidential community service that provides a one-stop connection to the local services people need. We thank those of you working to share information on cooling centers in our communities.
