Registration now open for needs assessment workshop on human, animal, and environmental health threats

The One Health Needs Assessment Workshop will bring human, animal, and environmental sectors together to collaborate, communicate, and coordinate on the continued accumulation of health threats. One Health is a collaborative approach to achieving optimal health for all by recognizing the health of humans, animals, plants, and the wider environment are closely linked and interdependent.

This event will be March 22-23, 2023, at Central Washington University in Ellensburg.

Attendees will focus on One Health topics such as animal health, antimicrobial resistance, biodiversity, climate change, environmental health, data systems, marine health, One Health cross-sectoral engagement, and zoonotic and vector-borne disease.

The workshop will produce a report of actionable plans to address key priorities for One Health work in Washington. We are seeking voices from varying disciplines across Washington state to forge the path forward.
