- You Can Keep Your IHealth COVID-19 Tests On The Shelf A Little Longer
You can keep your iHealth COVID-19 tests on the shelf a little longer
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration extended the shelf life for the iHealth COVID-19 rapid antigen tests from 12 months to 15 months. These are the tests distributed through the Say Yes! COVID Test program. This means that the test may be viable for a longer time period than the expiration date listed on the box. People can look up the new expiration date by lot code (lot codes are written on the test box).
DOH continues to approve the use of expired COVID-19 rapid antigen tests as long as tests pass internal quality control. Learn more about the expired tests by visiting DOH's COVID-19 Tests FAQ webpage.
