The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released new tools to guide effective investigations into group A Streptococcus (GAS) infections in long-term care facilities.

Targeted to public health departments and long-term care facilities, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, the toolkit (PDF) encourages an investigation into even a single case of invasive group A Streptococcus infection. Share with your staff and partners in your jurisdiction.
