Care-a-Van expansion to offer childhood vaccines
DOH's Care-a-Van program is launching a pilot to offer both childhood and COVID-19 vaccines for children six months to 17 years old. Initially, the Care-a-Van can support a total of 10 clinics per week across the state for children three to 17 years old. Care-a-Van offers vaccines free to the public; no insurance needed.
Requests are prioritized based on the following criteria:
- School Immunization Data Dashboard
- Social Vulnerability Index Rating of seven or higher
- Local health jurisdiction approval
