Building Community Capacity for Equitable COVID-19 Recovery
DOH has a new funding opportunity, Building Community Capacity for Equitable COVID-19 Recovery, to share with your communities. DOH will distribute a total of $1.5 million to organizations serving communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
Organizations may receive up to $40,000 for projects that help improve equitable access, distribution and administration of COVID-19 vaccines, health information, and prevention resources. Additional projects could focus on community capacity building and mobilization to advance health equity by addressing the structural and social determinants of health amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Interest forms for funding are due August 28 by 5 p.m. and must meet certain criteria (English (PDF) | Spanish (PDF)).
Submission of an interest form does not guarantee funding. For complete information about the funding, eligibility, and how to submit an interest form, please send prospective participants in your communities to DOH's Building Community Capacity for Equitable COVID-19 Recovery webpage.
