Office of Laboratory Quality Assurance changes name

DOH’s Office of Laboratory Quality Assurance, responsible for licensing, survey, and inspection of medical test sites, is changing its name to Medical Test Sites. You can expect to see the new name begin to appear as we update our webpage and in communications, starting as soon as November 1, 2023.

You may see these names and acronyms referring to the new name:

• Medical Test Sites
• Medical Test Site Program
• MTS
• MTS Program

While we update our materials, there may be outdated references to the previous name and acronym, Laboratory Quality Assurance (LQA).
