Supporting accessible and high quality health care systems in rural Washington

From the rolling fields to coastal fishing towns, rural communities are the heart of Washington.

The Washington State Office of Rural Health partners with local providers, hospitals, clinics and organizations to ensure that every resident - no matter where they live - has access to quality, affordable healthcare. We support innovation, collaboration, and resilience in rural health systems, working to close gaps in care and empower communities to thrive.

Together, we’re building healthier futures for Washington’s rural residents.

We connect resources, champion equity, and strengthen the healthcare workforce across rural Washington.
