Food 

  • Food and beverage establishment workers' permits (RCW 69.06)
    • State Board of Health has the following responsibilities (RCW 69.06.020):
      • The State Board of Health sets one uniform fee for the permit across Washington State.
      • The State Board of Health must periodically review program costs and adjust the permit fee when needed.

      • When setting the fee, the Board must ensure the cost does not prevent low-income individuals from obtaining a food worker permit.

  • Sanitary control of shellfish (RCW 69.30)

Poisons

  • Poisons—Sales and manufacturing (RCW 69.38)
    • Department of Health has the following shared responsibilities (RCW 69.38.060): 
      • ​​​​​​​The Department of Health sets the associated fee for licensure issuance
      • Once the fee has been paid, the Department of Health issues the license.
      • The Department of Health works in coordination with the pharmacy quality assurance commission by acting as a consultant for the commission to then provide the license.
