Committee Members
Join the Health Justice Community Advisory Committee
We are seeking up to 15 community leaders who reflect the diverse experiences and perspectives of Washington communities. Members will serve a three-year term beginning in August 2026 and will meet every other month with the DOH Executive Leadership Team.
Applicants must be Washington residents (18+) who work as staff, leadership, or on a board of a community-based organization supporting communities impacted by longstanding health inequities, value collaboration, and can commit an average of five hours per month to committee activities. Priority consideration will be given to individuals who live or work in the North Cascades, Northeast Washington, Olympic Peninsula, Southwest Washington, or Southeast Washington, and bring strong community connections, lived experience, or experience in organizing, advocacy, policymaking, or public health.
