Washington State Health and Human Services Enterprise Coalition

The Washington Health and Human Services Enterprise Coalition (HHS Coalition) is a multiorganization collaborative that provides strategic direction and federal funding guidance for information technology (IT) projects that have cross-organizational or enterprise impact.

IT project collaboration results in better service coordination and public stewardship that improves the health and well-being of the people, families, and communities of Washington.

How did the HHS Coalition evolve?

For decades, our organizations have collaborated to deliver services to Washingtonians who are most in need. In 2018, we decided to make this collaboration more intentional through the establishment of the HHS Coalition. The Washington Legislature formally recognized the HHS Coalition in the 2019 legislative session (Engrossed Substitute House Bill 1109; Section 210; Laws of 2019).
