Testimonial videos

These short videos feature stories from community members and fellow CHWs about how they have helped others understand the importance and safety of vaccines. You can use these clips to inform your own client conversations about vaccines, or show them to clients if they want to hear other trusted voices.

Dorothy, a health care worker and member of the Filipino community, talks about how vaccines can decrease the severity of certain illnesses and can protect family members, young children, and neighbors from getting sick.

 

Teresia is a community health worker at the Center for MultiCultural Health and works closely with Seattle’s Kenyan community. She talks about the importance of making the choice to get vaccinated, how to encourage clients to trust their providers, and correct misinformation about vaccines.

 

Walter is Samoan, Tongan, and Micronesian and is an active member of the Pacific Islander Community Association. He talks about how he encourages others, especially fellow senior citizens, to stay up to date on vaccinations. He talks about addressing their concerns and promoting the safety of vaccines.
