Identifying misinformation
Clients may come to you with misleading information they have seen or heard about vaccines, either on social media or from their friends, family, or community members.
This document lists some of the most common traits of false information. You can help clients identify incorrect or misleading information and point them toward trusted resources for accurate, science-based vaccine information.
All Language PDFs
- Digital versions are in full color and can be sent electronically or easily accessed on computers, tablets and phones.
- Print versions are black-and-white and can be printed at home or in the office and taken on the go.
- All versions of the toolkit materials are also available without the DOH logo, if you’re working with clients who are distrustful of government entities. We recommend using the version with the DOH logo for clients who consider the Department of Health as a trusted source.
