Building a strong rural health workforce starts with access to high‑quality training. The Washington State Office of Rural Health (WA-SORH) gathers and summarizes a variety of training programs, educational opportunities, and professional development resources to help rural providers, organizations, and communities stay informed and prepared.

Our goal is to make it easier for rural health partners to discover training that supports their teams and strengthens local health systems.

WA-SORH supports rural workforce development by offering select training opportunities throughout the year. These may include workshops, technical assistance sessions, continuing education, and programs focused on strengthening rural health systems.

WA-SORH‑supported training varies based on emerging needs and available resources. When opportunities are open, details and registration information will be posted on this site.

For the most current information about SORH‑provided training, please contact the Washington State Office of Rural Health directly: RuralHealth@doh.wa.gov
