We’re excited to share that the Geospatial Services team is actively working to have ArcGIS Enterprise within GeoHUB (DOH's internal‑only GIS platform) approved for Category 4 data. This upgrade will allow DOH staff to host, analyze, and manage sensitive datasets directly inside GeoHUB, giving programs more flexibility and more secure options for geospatial work.
Our external platform, ArcGIS Online, will continue to operate as a Category 3 environment. This means that DOH staff can keep using ArcGIS Online for public‑facing maps, dashboards, and collaboration, while soon having the option to use ArcGIS Enterprise for higher‑sensitivity internal data.
Stay tuned - once approval is finalized, we’ll share guidance on how to begin using Category 4 data within GeoHUB and how it fits into your workflows.
