Weigh in on vaccine planning for LTCF and those needing home-based support

Washington has more than 4,700 long-term care facilities (LTCF), many without any medical resources to assist with vaccinations. It is anticipated that there may be a recommendation for an additional booster dose in the fall, particularly for people at high risk for complications from COVID-19. What are your vaccine plans for LTCFs and people needing home-based support for vaccinations?

The DOH Mobile Nurse Team is preparing for ongoing vaccine access and equity needs across the state. Based on your plans for the next six months, the team will either increase vaccine capacity or continue at the same capacity.

We created a short survey to gather and assess our state’s vaccine needs for LTCFs and people who are home-based. We’d appreciate your response to the survey no later than Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Contact DOH Clinical, Quality and School Section Manager Kathy Bay with questions.
