CHW Sustainability Summit
The CHW Sustainability Summit was held on April 16th-18th, 2024 to bring together all 67 recipients of the 2109 Community Health Workers for COVID Response and Resilient Communities (CCR) grant. Washington State Department of Health was awarded Component B to expand the existing Care Connect WA program to the North Central and South Central regions, as well as Component C for an innovative project to strengthen the use of CHWs through policy, systems or environmental change. Our Component C project worked to expand the Promotora 5 pillar framework model and support community based organizations as they learned to work with Promotoras.
