The IE&E Modernization Program operates as a joint effort, where both state staff and external vendors/contractors collaborate to tackle crucial tasks. Through effective communication and a shared commitment to success, this collaboration ensures a seamless integration of diverse perspectives and capabilities. The goal of this approach is the timely and successful completion of key project work.

Statewide Contracts: IE&E uses the statewide contracts through the Department of Enterprise Services to obtain services across a variety of needs. Vendors interested in participating in future statewide contracting opportunities can visit the Department of Enterprise Services resource page for more information.

Competitive Solicitation Process: IE&E may have opportunities to participate in a competitive solicitation process for future work. Interested vendors should:

  • Register as a vendor in the Washington Electronic Business Solution.

  • Certify your small business in the Washington Electronic Business Solution (after registration.)

  • Certify your veteran-owed business with the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Owned Businesses.

  • Certify your minority and/or woman-owned business with the Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises **Certification fees are currently waived through June 2024.

  • Keep your contact information and commodity codes updated in WEBS to ensure notification about new opportunities.

  • Watch the DSHS Procurement Page for current opportunities.

  • Consider contacting the Washington APEX Accelerator (formerly Washington PTAC) for no-cost resources available for small businesses that can assist with the Procurement Process.
