Building Community Capacity for Equitable COVID-19 Recovery

A two-lane road through Washington's rolling hills

The Building Community Capacity for Equitable COVID-19 Recovery is a funding opportunity administered by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). Under the program, DOH will distribute $1.5 million to organizations serving communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Organizations may receive up to $40,000 for projects that help improve equitable access, distribution, and administration of COVID-19 vaccines, health information, and prevention resources. Additional projects could focus on community capacity building and mobilization to advance health equity by addressing the structural and social determinants of health amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below is a list of the selected recipients. We eagerly anticipate the impact this work will bring to the communities served.
