MMRP Across Washington

MMRP Across Washington - Listening to the voices of communities most impacted by maternal mortality

Creating solutions together - local and regional strategies to reduce maternal mortality

In response to the 2023 Maternal Mortality Review Panel (MMRP) Report to the Legislature, the Washington State Department of Health received input from regional and community partner groups. Feedback on the report findings included ideas for reducing risks and preventing maternal mortality in communities directly affected by these outcomes.

In-person convenings were held in three corners of the state: Northwest (Port Angeles), Northeast (Colville), and Southeast (Richland) from July through September 2024. Videos will be posted as available - click location accordions below to hear what community members had to say.
