Help develop Washington's State Health Improvement Plan

Share your thoughts on how the state should prioritize health

The Washington State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) will shape the future of public health in our state, and we want your input.

Public health partners and communities from across Washington state have been participating in a steering committee, the SHIP Alliance, led by the state Department of Health, to produce a long-term, system-wide plan. While the Alliance will have the final decision on the priorities included in the state plan, there are opportunities for all Washingtonians to provide feedback and suggestions.

The two options to participate in the SHIP process are the SHIP listening sessions and our public survey.

SHIP Listening Sessions

There will be three statewide listening sessions to give partners and community members the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to SHIP development. All listening sessions are planned to be virtual and in-person, with the first taking place in Spokane and the second in Tacoma. The third listening session will be specific to Tribal partners, with a date and location to be determined soon.
