- Center for the Advancement of Palliative Care (CAPC): CAPC has a wide selection of online courses and offers the widest selection to members. That said, non-members can still access webinars and some online modules.
- CAPC Course Catalogue: CAPC also sponsors an information and education site for patients and families called Get Palliative Care. The site sponsors webinars, podcasts and offers articles and stories to educate.
- Washington State Hospice and Palliative Care Organization: WSHPCO offers annual trainings, forums, webinars and a regularly scheduled Palliative Care Networking Call that focuses on topics.
- Serious Illness Care: Ariadne Labs is a joint center for health systems innovation at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Serious illness care is one of many healthcare topics Ariadne Labs addresses with research and innovations.
- VitalTalk: Research on effective communication skills for serious illness led to the development of this model and training program. The training is geared to providers but can be generalized by other clinical team members. The site also has a large number of free to view training videos that are linked to one-page quick guides that summarize key points for communication about serious illness.
- Relias: Relias Academy offers online courses on a wide selection of topics and has a wide selection of palliative care courses including a series on ELNEC. (End of Life Nursing Education Consortium) You can purchase single courses, subscribe to access to a catalog of courses or contract as an organization to have more learning management system type functions.

- National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization: NHPCO offers conferences, certificate training programs, webinars, online learning and tools and resources.
- The California State University Institute for Palliative Care: A nationally recognized leader in training on palliative care, the Institute offers instructor-led or self-paced courses for multiple disciplines.

- Center for the Advancement of Palliative Care: Pat Justis, WRPCI leader has combed the CAPC site to download the training lists below. You may of course explore the site and come up with your own list of priority topics
- WRPCI Documentation, Billing and Coding Training called "The Team That Does Not Know It Is A Team: From Documenting to Coding to Denials to Revenue to Value". This workshop educated providers, coders, billers, administration and front-end staff on appropriate documentation components and coding practices that will lead to successful billing practices and greater possibility of long-term sustainability for their organization as local community populations age in place. The end goal is to understand the relationship of documentation, coding and billing practices to successful revenue cycle management, to facilitate effective provision of Palliative Care and related services.

Polly Mazanec, PhD , ACNP-C, AOCN, ACHPN, FPCN, FAAN presents on the National Consensus Project’s new Clinical Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care.
- Palliative Care 101: Caring for People with Serious Illness in Rural Communities, A Conversation with Gregg VandeKieft, MD and Steven Grossman, MD. Pat Justis, Executive Director of the Washington State Office of Rural Health introduced the Washington Rural Palliative Care Initiative and moderated a discussion with Drs. VandeKieft and Grossman. The speakers defined hospice and palliative care, talked about common myths, and discussed who can benefit from palliative care and how healing can occur when people are living with life-threatening illnesses.

Pita discussed the role and responsibilities of the tele-presenter, offered information about how to determine the training needs for the tele-presenter role, what to consider when selecting staff to tele-present, and what to consider when implementing a tele-presenter role to support palliative care or other telehealth services.
