Handouts updated to help someone take the right steps when they experience symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19
DOH updated its COVID-19 Decision Trees for the General Public. The decision trees reflect the latest guidance for people who have COVID-19 symptoms and people who have been exposed to COVID-19.
The decision trees are for the general public and non-health care settings, including schools and child care providers. These handouts do not apply to certain non-health care congregate settings, including correctional and detention facilities, homeless shelters, transitional housing, crowded work settings, temporary worker housing, and commercial maritime settings.
For deeper information than what's in the decision tree, full DOH guidance can be found in What to do if you test positive for COVID-19, and What to do when you have been exposed to COVID-19.
The updated handouts will be translated into Spanish and additional languages in the coming weeks.
