Messaging guides chats with youth on drugs and alcohol
Join us in raising awareness about youth substance use prevention. DOH is committed to providing resources to help reduce and prevent youth substance use. In recognition of National Drug and Alcohol Facts week, from March 17 through 23, DOH will share information on social media to educate and support communities in making informed choices.
To learn more about DOH’s current youth cannabis and commercial tobacco prevention campaigns, connect with DOH Cannabis Health Educator Adriana Avelar and Commercial Tobacco Health Educator Antonio Gomez. Campaigns include:
- You Can: A youth-focused cannabis prevention campaign
- Choose You: A youth-focused commercial tobacco/vaping prevention campaign
- Start Talking Now: A campaign supporting caregivers and influential adults in discussing substance use with youth
