We are glad you are here. WIC plays a vital role across our state assisting families in need of access to supplemental foods, breast and chest feeding support, health screening and referrals, and nutrition education. To help families in Washington State achieve their best health, WIC relies on dedicated professionals who thrive on working in the nutrition and lactation support field.  

These pages contain information and resources to support formal education pathways and career growth within Washington WIC.  

Who is this site for? 

This site is for two groups of audiences:

1. Local agency WIC staff who wish to further their career path in WIC.
2. People who are not employed by WIC, and who want to learn more about a career in Washington WIC.  

Currently, this site focuses on the Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) educational pathway. We’ll expand resources to include other WIC-career pathways over time.
