  • April 23 to 24, 2026 – 2026 TeleBehavioral Health Summit: The Behavioral Health Institute is pleased to offer the 2026 TeleBehavioral Health Summit, a free, two-day summit brings together national experts, clinicians, policymakers, and behavioral health leaders to explore the practical, ethical, and regulatory dimensions of AI in mental health and substance use care. Designed for clinicians, peer professionals, administrators, and system leaders, the Summit focuses on real-world applications of AI — supporting safe, effective, and responsible integration into behavioral health practice.

  • April 23, 2026, 12 to 1 p.m. PDT — A Shared Vision: Building Community Partnerships for School-Based Eye Care Programs: This webinar will explore ways to use partnerships with academic institutions, school nurses, tele-optometry providers, rural health partners, school administrators, children’s hospitals, the Indian Health Service, and Medicaid programs to expand access to school-based eye care. Presenters will share SBHC models serving different populations and demonstrate approaches ranging from on-site staff to mobile and visiting vision care services.

  • April 28 to 29, 2026  Psychosis CARE Virtual Conference: This free virtual conference invites school staff, primary care providers, mental health therapists, substance use disorder professionals, law enforcement, families, and people with lived experience to engage in Community Awareness, Resources, and Education as it relates to psychosis. Attendees will learn about early identification, support resources, Washington psychosis care resources, and opportunities to engage with others. Registration is free (virtual event).

  • April 28, 8 to 9:30 a.m. PDT Information Overload: Communication Strategies for Adolescent Vaccine Counseling: This live virtual training will review the changes to the youth vaccine recommendations instituted by the Department of Health and Human Services. The speakers will discuss the implications of those decisions, offer tips for navigating conflicting information between local and federal sources, and equip youth-serving health professionals with evidence-based strategies to address vaccine hesitancy among adolescents and their caregivers. Attendees will gain tools to confidently address concerns and build trust to improve adolescent vaccination rates. Save the date and check back soon for more details on the Webinar & Trainings page.

  • May 4, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT From Start-up to Sustainability: Policy and Pathways for Successful School-Based Mobile Healthcare: Drawing on insights from SBHA’s 2025-2026 national policy and sustainability landscape analysis, including interviews with state leaders, healthcare providers, and national experts, this webinar will highlight key policy considerations, reimbursement realities, and practical strategies that support long-term sustainability.

  • May 9, 2026 —   Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (WCAAP) 2nd Pediatric Health Equity Summit: This summit is an opportunity to learn together and take collective action to advance equitable health care for children statewide. The 2026 theme is “From Embers to Action: Reimagining Pediatric Health Equity.” The summit will be in Auburn, Washington.

  • May 18, 2026 —  The Say it Out Loud conference ($135): Join peers, providers, advocates, partners, and community members at this year’s Say it Out Lous Conference. The theme, “Unapologetically us! Bold voices, bright futures!” reflects Washington’s commitment to centering LGBTQIA2S+ voices, celebrating lived experience, and strengthening behavioral health support statewide. The conference is at Tulalip Resort and Casino. Registration is $135.

  • May 18 to 19, 2026 —  Many Pathways, One Purpose (Free): The Show Me Foundation’s 2 day conference brings together clinicians, community leaders, and advocates to advance culturally responsive behavioral health care. This free event features speakers, discussions, and strategies addressing mental health, substance use, and problem gambling in diverse communities.

  • May 19, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. PDT Future Ready: Emergency Preparedness in School-Based Health Telehealth: This webinar will provide training and technical assistance to health centers and their school partners on developing policies and procedures to meet the health needs of school-aged children during emergencies or other health challenges that require students to learn from home.

  • May 21, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT Building Ready and Responsive School-Based Health Center Telehealth Programs: This webinar from the School-Based Health Alliance is designed for providers and administrators working with schools, focusing on how school-based health centers can effectively partner with school communities to implement telehealth during emergencies.

  • May 21, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PDT — Dad Allies Provider Learning Series: Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy in Washington: Presenters from Health Care Authority, Implementing Contraception Access Now, and Grays Harbor Public Health will share information and resources on: Family planning policy in Washington, what’s covered by Medicaid (Apple Health & Family Planning Only), trends in men’s sexual and reproductive health care, how and where to access care.

  • May 27, 12 to 1 p.m. PDT Partnering for Prevention in Schools: Examine how school-based mobile health programs and cross-sector collaborations between schools, health centers, and community organizations strengthen comprehensive care for school-aged children.

  • June 12, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT  Autonomy to Access: Serving Girls of Color with Intellectual and Developmental DisabilitiesThis Cardea workshop is part of the Let’s Talk Sex Ed… For Providers series. This workshop provides practical ways to integrate reproductive, social, and disability justice principles to center girls of color with IDD in school-based health care settings. Participants will learn how to strengthen inclusion and relevance in sexual health services by supporting bodily autonomy and honoring diverse identities, ensuring access to unbiased information and options.   • June 23 to 25, 2026 —  2026 National School-Based Health Care Conference ($750): This conference in Washington D.C., is an opportunity to connect with health care professionals, education professionals, youth, and advocates from across the country. The theme is “Stronger Together – Building Healthy Futures for Every Child.”

  • July 28 to 31, 2026  National Reproductive Health Conference ($375): The Clinical Training Center for Sexual and Reproductive Health (CTC-SRH) is hosting this conference in Chicago for Title X clinical providers. Topics include updates in gynecologic care, contraception, STI prevention and management, restorative fertility, cancer screening, behavioral health, maternal health, and innovative service delivery. Scholarships available.

  • August 14, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT  Supporting Adolescent Survivors of Sexual Trauma: Teens are one of the highest risk groups for enduring sexual trauma, yet institutional processes for addressing it remain inconsistently adopted. What should clinic-based staff and providers know to better support adolescent survivors in a healthcare context? This workshop will offer a focused look at effective screening, resource referrals, trauma-informed exams, and crisis triage after recent disclosure.

  • September 24 to 25, 2026 — Re-Imagining Behavioral Health: Race, Equity, & Social Justice Conference (Free): The University of Washington Behavioral Health Institute is hosting its 7th annual behavioral health conference. This free virtual conference brings together the behavioral health community to share information, insights, practices, and policies that advance equity in behavioral health systems. Presentation proposals are accepted until May 14.

  • October 14 to 16, 2026 —  100th Annual School Health Conference ($585): Join the American School Health Association for this annual conference in Indianapolis.

  • October 22 to 23, 2026 — 2026 Student Health Summit: Save the date for this conference in Wenatchee, Washington. This year, the daylong conference will be preceded by an optional half-day preconference. The Washington School-Based Health Alliance (WA SBHA) is taking speaker proposals until May 4.

  • October 26, 2026 — The Washington State Mental Health Summit: Led by Chad’s Legacy Project, this summit in Seattle is an inclusive forum for statewide partners to develop, share, and advance new ideas, opportunities and collaborations to advance education, prevention, and care for those living with mental health and substance use issues.

  • November 2 (virtual) and November 5 to 7 (in-person), 2026 Annual Conference on Adolescent Health ($100-450): This conference brings together an interdisciplinary community of health care professionals to share research and best practices in adolescent-centered care. The virtual conference is November 2; the in-person conference is in Detroit, MI, November 5 to 7. Registration opens June 1, 2026.

  • November 13, 2026, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT  Informed Not Influenced: Supported Decision-MakingSupported Decision-Making is an approach to allying with disabled people that centers their autonomy and personhood. In adolescent reproductive health, the same tenants can be used to address disinformation and present neutral, evidence-based guidance, allowing young people to make informed decisions. This session includes a guest speaker from La Clinica on the LARC doula program, non-clinical support for youth seeking IUD or implant placement and removal.

  • December 1 to 3, 2026 Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health: This interdisciplinary conference brings together local, state, national, and international experts to advance knowledge and skills in school mental health practice, research, training, and policy. The event is in Nashville, TN.
