Give members of your community a quick guide about Care Connect with updated infographics in 37 languages

COVID-19 is still very much active in our communities and recent data in our COVID-19 dashboard show a rise in overall cases across Washington and an increase in hospitalizations in recent weeks.

Isolating at home when you test positive for COVID-19 is critical to halting the spread of the illness. But for many people, staying home can be challenging. It can mean missing a paycheck or not being able to shop for groceries.

Care Connect Washington is a program to provide food and other necessities to help people while they isolate at home due to COVID-19. Since July 2020, Care Connect has provided services to more than 115,000 people across the state. The program works with a network of nine community hubs and local care coordinators to meet people’s essential needs during isolation and then connect them to longer-term services to meet ongoing health and social needs.

DOH would like your help in spreading the word about this important program. We recently updated our downloadable flyers about Care Connect, and the flyers are available in 37 languages. We also have social media graphics and accompanying text in 30 languages, including Amharic, Burmese, Oromo, Pashto, and Somali, and encourage you to share the messages through your organization’s social media channels. (To view the social media graphics and text, please click “Care Connect” under the “Campaign Brand” on the COVID-19 Vaccine Communications Toolkit page.)

We are in the process of posting updates in 37 languages to the Care Connect web page, and the updated information should be available in coming weeks.
