Learn how data science principles intersect with public health challenges

Public health professionals who work with data are invited to attend the first Data Modernization Initiative workforce webinar Introduction to Data Science for Public Health 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26.

The free webinar, developed in partnership between the DOH and the University of Washington School of Public Health, will address data science principles and how they intersect with public health challenges. Participants will learn critical skills for today’s public health workforce, including multiple definitions of data science, its priority areas, and practical applications, as well as the value of gaining actionable insights from complex data to address today’s public health realities.
