Health and wellness professionals seeking opportunities to expand health equity are invited to join a Health Equity Action Collaborative. The collaborative is a space for people to learn and discuss implementing a quality improvement project that promotes equity within their organization. Participants receive support in taking the project from an idea stage to developing a project plan that can be implemented within their organization. The group is hosted by the Dr. Robert Bree Collaborative. Organizations’ projects focus on a health topic that aligns with a Bree report guideline and addresses health equity in a way relevant to their work and selected topic.
Commitment: Participants attend a monthly two-hour meeting May-December. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2-4 p.m.
What happens during a meeting: Participants learn about quality improvement tools, receive technical assistance, discuss health equity topics facing Washingtonians, and cultivate relationships with peers across the health care system.
Who can join: The Health Equity Action Collaborative is open to health delivery systems, clinicians, health plans, purchasers, quality improvement teams and others serving Washingtonians. An individual or a team from an organization serving Washingtonians can join.
